BBB & Charity Navigator
The Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance has named Boys Town a BBB Wise Giving Alliance Accredited Charity. Boys Town voluntarily underwent a rigorous evaluation process of governance, effectiveness, finances and solicitations, and informational materials. Boys Town passed the evaluation and met all of the Alliance’s Standards for Charity Accountability. These standards go beyond what government regulators require. Boys Town is a 50-year member of the Nebraska Better Business Bureau, and was awarded the chapter’s BBB Integrity Award in 2006 for its ethical business practices and continuous commitment to helping at-risk children and their families.
“National charities that display the BBB Wise Giving Alliance seal can do so with pride,” said Art Taylor, President and CEO of the Alliance. “Not only are they attesting to their organization’s adherence to sound standards, they are helping to increase donor confidence and strengthen public trust in giving.

Charity Navigator, one of the nation’s largest and most-respected charity rating systems, has awarded Boys Town its highest 4-star rating for the sound management of its finances. Analysts at Charity Navigator examined thousands of nonprofits to develop an unbiased, objective, data-based rating system to assess the financial health of a charity. Boys Town received the highest possible rating in both areas. The review on Boys Town can be found at www.charitynavigator.org.
