Race to the Top

Race to the Top will award a total of $4.35 billion to states that are reform-minded and forward-thinking in their educational systems. Delaware and Tennessee were the first states to be awarded Race to the top Funds (Read Ed.gov Press Release).

Investing in Innovation Fund

The i3 fund provides competitive grants to applicants with a record of improving student achievement and attainment. The fund enables them to expand innovative practices that improve student achievement or growth, close achievement gaps, reduce dropout rates, increase graduation rates, or increase college enrollment and completion rates.
